Burning trains in Bihar

A few moons ago I posted a blog post asking as to why Bihari’s are hated in Maharashtra.

Bihari’s are not so popular in Assam Punjab Delhi Harayana. UP.Pretty much. To sum up not very popular.

I was wondering as to why only the poor bihari is hated .Recently I found out  the reason the following article

A group of students travelling without tickets in an air-conditioned railway coach in the northern Indian state of Bihar were recently asked by the ticket examiner to vacate their seats.

Nothing unusual about that, but, in this case, the students took umbrage, and set four coaches on fire.

Panic-stricken passengers on the train travelling between the Indian capital, Delhi, and Rajgir in Bihar, ran out with their bags at Bihta station while the police and railway security looked on helplessly.

Railway authorities totted up the losses: each air-conditioned coach costs eight million rupees ($161,000; £98,000) to manufacture, and the losses from the Bihar incident cost the railways nearly $650,000.

This incident again proved that burning trains have become a popular form of protest and vandalism in Bihar.

Now ticket less travel is common all over India.Be it Delhi, Assam , West bengal any other  part of India.

But burning trains for being  asked to evict a  seat for which you have not paid  is only common to Bihari’s

I mean why…why only Bihar is the trouble… ?

Is it some thing in their education system that does it.Makes them incompetent to understand .. why is it that bihar only has the maximum MP/MLA with the maximum number of criminal cases pending against them.

All I can say Bihar ? “question mark”

May be they show the same attitude,that they show in Bihar, in other states and probably that is why they are resented where ever they go.

Hey may be that’s only me.

Brahmos Missile explained

What kind of name is Brahmos?

BrahMos was named after the rivers of the two countries taking part in developing of the cruise missile.

The initial name being taken from the river Brahmaputra  in India and the later part being taken from the River Moskov in Russia

And hence the name BrahMos.

What is Bhramos ?

BrahMos is a supersonic cruise missile that can be launched from submarines, ships, aircraft or land. It is a joint venture between India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Russia’s NPO Mashinostroeyenia who have together formed the BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited.

What is a Supersonic cruise missile?

A cruise missile is a guided missile that carries an explosive payload and uses a lifting wing and a propulsion system, usually a jet engine, to allow sustained flight; it is essentially a flying bomb. Cruise missiles are generally designed to carry a large conventional or nuclear warhead many hundreds of kilometers with high accuracy. Modern cruise missiles can travel at supersonic or high subsonic speeds, are self-navigating, and fly on a non-ballistic very low altitude trajectory to avoid radar detection.

Think of this missile as a low flying Kamakazi jet plane…filled with bombs.These missiles travel very close to the surface of the earth and there fore avoid radar detection.These are guided by GPS on how to reach the destined path and hit the target

So what is a super sonic cruise missile?

These missiles travel faster than the speed of sound, usually using ramjet engines. The range is typically 100-500 km, but can be greater. Guidance systems vary.

What does  “Guidance systems vary” mean?

Because these missile travel so close to the ground and they turn to avoid obstacles like trees and buildings they need a eye in the sky.They also need to have pin point description of their location so that they can accelerate or decelerate their speeds.

A global positioning system is used to provide this to the Cruise missile.

Here the problem is that the GPS is owned by the US and they can turn it off at their time and will and hence forth we cannot rely on them.

We are developing our own version of the GPS called Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS)

It should be done by 2011.And yes it will guide the Brahmos in event of a war.

BrahMos II is a hypersonic cruise missile that has been lab tested with a speed of 5.26 Mach making it the fastest cruise missile in the world. BrahMos II is expected to be ready by 2013-14 and will arm the Project 15B destroyers of the Indian Navy.

now let me explain what happened in the recent

The contretemps two weeks ago occurred when Gates – arguably the foremost US scholar on African-American affairs – was arrested after police received a call that two men might be attempting a break in at a house in Cambridge, Massachusetts, home to Harvard.

As it turned out, Gates was merely attempting to enter his own home when the door jammed.

Gates and Crowley exchanged heated words, and the professor was ultimately arrested for disorderly conduct. Here

So as it happens Gates happen to be  a renounced African American Scholar who teaches at the very famous Harvard  university in Cambridge, MA.So it once happened that he lost the keys to his house, So he  along with  a friend of his broke open his house and tried to entering it.

On seeing a site like this his neighbor called the cops as normally jobless citizens do.The cop who attended the crime scene  was Mr.Crowley. He knocked on the door and asked if Mr.Gates could prove his identity and the ownership of the house.Mr. Gates happily did that and told him the reason of  breaking himself into his own house.

Now here comes the prejudice of the police officer.he arrests gates and throws him in the lock up,In spite of knowing the fact that he was not a thief but a very prominent scholar at the Harvard University.

This creates a outrage among the African – Americans and Obama steps in to call the officer “stupid”

Mr Gates happens to be a friend of Obama. He later contrated from his statement, but we all know that he was angry.

And hence to cool things off, Obama called for  a “Beer summit” between the Cop, the Academician and the President

Now that’s a scene that you will see every day. Do you .

I am black and i was wrongfully arrested by a cop….call me to your beer party please.

Racism in Australia ??? Nah

Racist Australia Let us first begin by defining racism

Remember Gandhi being thrown out of a train from a first class compartment inspite of having a first class ticket…That is racism

What not is  racism?

Being mugged for walking in a bad neighborhood.

I mean yes people are getting mugged in Australia but they are everyone not just Indian’s I mean everyone is getting mugged there. Victoria is a bad neighborhood, it is not that they are specifically targeting Indian or they are going like “O he is an Indian lets mug him’

what do you expect when you are walking in Bihar at the middle of the night?

I am sure that you are not expecting some one come and give you a bunch of flowers .

Exactly this is what is happening in Victoria.

Indian students come back from jobs late at night and well they are walking back and there is some drunk chap who is drunk and is looking for free cigg or money and well mugs you.

I am not supporting the guy who is mugging but this is not racism If you want examples of racism then it would be you not getting a job on the basis of your color. This does not happen in Australia.

Indians are present is all the posts in Australia, from petrol pump attendant to a highly paid executive in good MNC. And more over Indians are regarded as highly educated and good English speakers. (Huh!)The only racial abuse I heard in the past 6 month was once at YMCA of Perth and that was “Thank you come, again” (Appu from Simpsons) .I guess the guy was trying to make a conversation with me ..he was smiling  … but I didn’t really get it at the first instance (not so smart huh)

Times are tough in Australia, the mining industry, the main stay, is shutting down in Australia people have lost jobs and they are coming back to towns to get some jobs, they cannot find jobs and well there is tension, tension is everywhere, even in India, but let’s not give colorist names to them.

Bad economy shows an increase in crime .Simple plain economics

Well I am happy that the government of India cares about me…well it never cared about me when I was in India…now that I am out of India.

But really the bottom line is that Victoria is a bad suburb and it is more of a crime rate issue rather than a racial abuse. And also personally I think that the Australia govt was slow on acting to this.

I mean you hit a foreigner in India and the GOI  (Govt of India w)will hit you back like a jumbo jet. (Graham stain killings, scarlet O hare murder, the last I read about a foreigner loosing his dog in Delhi during dial and the Delhi police did everything in their might to get it back, anyone read this?)

But yes the Australia govt seems to have taken the street violence lightly and is now paying for it.

India is about to issue a travel advisory on Australia.

BCCI to not play cricket with Australia.

I mean yes…India is pissed at Australia for not selling uranium to them under Chinese pressure…and if this is the way GOI is going to go about it then so be it.

Singh is king!!
