3g worries

What worries me the most …as you said is the input fees of 3g spectrum for existing and new players.
It is quite likely that this will be taken out on the normal consumer,,,,,

If the 3g cost is so high that it takes me 10paise to open up and check my mail then forget it.

They should just Carry out simple plan and offer unlimited Internet.like this

500pm unlimited internet all month

250pm unlimited Internet all nite

251pm unlimited internt all day

350pm unlimited video calling all day (The call rate are the same i mean 50p/min etc)

351pm unlimited video calling all nite

600 pm unlimited video calling all month

Now it may seem very cheap and unreasonable to you but let me tell you that i will be using the 3g service when the rates as as cheap as this or lower.

I also expect a fierce competition as GOI seems to be allowing more players into the market

3g in delhi

Its just too bad that i live in Noida…because MTNL has launched 3G in delhi and for the time being it is free and limited access…As per news paper reports Connaught Place, Sanchar Bhawan, Rajaji Marg, India Gate, Pragati Maidan, Delhi Gate, and Minto Road have free 3 g access.

Now the pain in the ass is that i do not know if Noida comes under any of MTNL towers or BSNl towers.Now i have a feeling that BSNL and MTNL have a tie up which says that Mtnl users will get bsnl roaming services if mtnl allows bsnl customers to have local coverage..

But none the less i am going to try this service as MTNL sims cards are pretty cheap

Lets see..may be i too will be going jadooooooo
