The Man Eater Of Malgudi By R.K Narayan

The time less old classic The maneater of malgudi. I always liked the R.K  Narayan has his own way of putting out irony in humour. The story revolves around a polite man who finds  very very hard to say no.

I would love to give you details of the story but I won’t, yes I am a little lazy right now but this is a good read.  I would recommend this to you

Making the Minister Smile By Anurag Mathur, A book Review

Now this book has been out for 10 years now so my review will be a little hard.

This book has an hangover of the inscrutable Americans. This involves an American coming to India for a business deal which has gone wrong due to the local  worker troubles.

The rest of the story involves the American working around India trying to learn the language and adapting to the conditions. A lot of Indian American hangover.

Although the book is a little pro BJP, but 10 years on it has lost its flavor and touch.

Avoidable

The Ant and the Grashopper by William Somerset Maugham

I remember reading this short story in one of my school books. I fell in love with this story and the idea of it.

After a lot of hunting around I found the book which had this short story and I decided to make a PDF version of it.

I scanned the book in a scanner and am now uploading it here.

I loved this story and I hope you will like it too. Its written by William Somerset Maugham

A sober and respectable businessman, George Ramsay,
suffers from the burden of a  ne’er-do-well brother.
While George slowly builds his income and his
reputation, Tom, his brother, lives recklessly on borrowed
money, a trial to his family if a delight to his
friends. Maughom’s story takes exception with Aesop’s
famous fable

Alice in Wonderland

In a recent conversation with my friend Raj I discovered the joy i had forgotten in reading.

I have decided to make good use of the Library at UWA and read the books which i wanted to read but was too lazy to read and  hoped that some movie producer would make a movie out of it. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, East is east, etc

I am starting with the age old all time classic “Alice in Wonderland”. I am uploading a Ebook for you and for my reference later on .

My name is Alice and I remember Everything.!

My name is Alice and I remember Everything.!

Read  here and Enjoy.

“My name is Alice and I remember everything.” – Resident Evil Apocalypse (2004)

Download the ebook here

Hey hold on seems Tim Burton beat me to it, he is making a movie out of it as it seems with Johnny Depp

Here is a trailer of the movie.

Stupid Tim Burton making a movie of all the books available, he thinks he is so smart – Homer Simpson

My Name is Alice and I kick Ass !!!!

The only reference I remember to the name Alice is this one from the movie Resident Evil. “My name is Alice and I kick ass “.

A totally different “tell me about it” character from the book “Alice in Wonderland”.

I wish Lewis Carroll was alive to see this.None the less he must be rolling in his grave.

Resident Evil (film) (2002), has several references. The main character’s name is Alice, and the journey she takes to the hive is almost symbolic of the rabbit hole. Also, the antagonist of the film is titled The Red Queen.”

And of course not to mention the king of these pop cultures all

“Who the FUCK is Alice”
